What a blessing it is to celebrate our 20th anniversary of the Nathan Project Bowl-A-Thon with you! Throughout the years, we have shared a lot of smiles and ice cream. Some of you have been with us every one of those 19 years, and others have joined along the way; for some, this will be a first. No matter how long you have been coming, it is a joy to have you with us.
This year, we are pleased to announce two significant changes to our Bowl-A-Thon. First, we are changing the name to the 1st Annual Alan Goedecke Memorial Bowl-A-Thon. For many years, Alan, who went home to be with his Lord this June after a short illness, his wife Nancy, and the Goedecke Flooring & Design Center have been major sponsors of this event. They, and sons Herb and Peter, and their wives Viktoria and Sheryl, are all good friends of Vicki and me and have been supporters of the Nathan Project as a whole. We are blessed by the Goedecke family to be able to honor Alan and have their sponsorship again in 2024.
WHEN: August 24 from 4-6 pm
WHO: Bowlers of all ages and skill levels. Registration is free, and each registered bowler receives a special gift, two hours of bowling, shoes, pizza, soda, an Alan Goedecke Memorial T-shirt, and an ice cream sundae!
WHERE: Yankee Lanes, in Manchester across from Gill Stadium, 216 Maple St, Manchester, NH 03103
WHY: Support the Nathan Project mission – a safe environment to Restore, Renew, & Rebuild broken men battling the use of pornography and their families caught in the web of sexual addiction.
HOW: A suggested minimum donation of $100 per bowler via contributions.
